The governing board of the Antelope Valley Union High School District
has given permission for Highland students to form a student government.
The purpose of the Highland High School Associated Student Body (ASB) is
to promote the general welfare of the study body and to engage
students in the democratic process. While this student
organization generally enjoys autonomy, they are governed by their own
constitution, consent of the school board, and advice from the school
administration through the faculty advisor.
