Parents: Concerned about a class?
-
Step One: Talk to the teacher.
Teachers can be reached by phone or by email.
-
E-Mail: Email is the best way
to contact most teachers. Log into PowerSchool
and click on the teacher's name on your child's class schedule
to initiate an e-mail with that teacher. Teachers will
respond within two work days.
-
PHONE: Please do
not call teachers during class
time. Leave a message on their voicemail and they
will get back to you within 2 work days.
Please press 0 to talk to the switchboard operator between 7:00am and 7:30am or between
2:33pm and 4pm and ask to be transferred to the teacher's
extension.
-
Step Two: After you have spoken
with the teacher and still have concerns, you have two options:
-
If you are concerned about your child's
performance in more than one class, the appropriate placement of
your child in a class, or your child's study skills, please
contact the Guidance office at 661-538-0304 x376 for an
appointment with your child's teachers.
-
If you are unsatisfied with a teacher's
response to your concern, you may contact the teacher's
supervising vice-principal. Click on "Administration" to
the left to find out which vice-principal supervises the class
in question.
