- On October 1st, 2020, Captain Timothy Green, Highland HS & the AVUHSD teacher of the year, was named Teacher of the Year for all of Los Angeles County! It is an absolute honor for us to join LA County in recognizing such an incredible educator, mentor, and student advocate! On a daily basis, Captain Green inspires his students to reach beyond their means to become outstanding contributors to our community, fully preparing them for their futures in Public Service.
We are absolutely privileged to again recognize Bulldog Captain Timothy Green as Highland HS Teacher of the Year, AVUHSD Teacher of the Year, AND Los Angeles County Teacher of the Year!! Thank you for your incredible dedication to our students and our community!!
