Enrollment HOURS ARE from 9:00 am -11:30 am monday through thursday
YOU MUST LIVE WITHIN HIGHLAND HIGH SCHOOL'S BOUNDARIES TO ENROLL INTO HIGHLAND HIGH SCHOOL, OR RECEIVE AN OPEN ENROLLMENT LETTER TO ATTEND! CLICK ON THE SCHOOL LOCATOR BELOW TO CHECK TO SEE IF YOUR ADDRESS IS WITHIN OUR BOUNDARIES!

2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR
Foster parents must provide "placement" documentation. Legal guardians must show guardianship/court documentation.
A family living with another family who can not provide proof of residency or caregivers of students whose parent/guardian live outside the Antelope Valley will be referred to our Community Attendance Worker for approval before registration.
Any fraudulent information/documentation may result in the withdrawal of your student(s) from Highland High School.
Documents you need:
Numbers 1, 2 and 3 are non-negotiable - student will not be enrolled without all three of them!
1.Two CURRENT (within the last 60 days) utility bills proving residency within Highland's boundaries such as an electric, gas or water bill, Escrow paperwork (closed), Lease agreement or Rental agreement, OR your AVUHSD Open Enrollment approval letter. NO phone bills.
2. Up-to-date immunizations (click here to see CA requirements)
3. Student's birth certificate to verify birth date.
4. Withdrawal form with withdrawal grades AND an unofficial transcript.
5. Parent/Guardian's State issued identification or Driver's license.
6. Court documents of custody or guardianship, if applicable.
7. IEP or 504 Plan, if student has one.

1. CREATE YOUR POWERSCHOOL PARENT ACCOUNT (The sign in screen looks like this):
2. Choose ENROLLMENT 2024-2025 from the list on the left (it looks like this):
3. COMPLETE & SUBMIT THE ENROLLMENT 2024-2025 INFORMATION.
In the event you are unable to complete the online portion of enrollment via a web browser from your cell phone, tablet or computer, contact the registration team at HHS-Registration@avhsd.org

INCOMING 10TH, 11TH AND 12 GRADE STUDENTS WHO H AVE ATTENDED A LOCAL PUBLIC HIGH SCHOOL
1. After July 1st, log into your PowerSchool Parent Account.
2. Click on Enrollment 2024-25
3. Fill in the required information and submit it.
Enrollment is not complete until your immunizations are checked and you meet with a counselor to choose classes. After we receive your submitted ENROLLMENT 2024-2025, you will receive an email to schedule an appointment.
